Reason for the revision

Demand for electronics-related products, including semiconductor manufacturing equipment, particularly in the Chinese market, increased more than expected, resulting in net sales and operating income exceeding the previous forecast. Ordinary income and net income attributable to owners of the parent exceeded the previous forecast due to the increase in operating income, as well as factors including the recognition of foreign exchange gains resulting from yen depreciation.

Previous-period resultsNet sales: ¥54,384 million; operating income: ¥1,173 million; ordinary income: ¥1,422 million; net income attributable to owners of the parent: ¥559 million; basic earnings per share: ¥8.11
