Reason for the revision

Domestic group companies performed steadily, while replacement demand associated with the end of Windows 10 support declined in Amano's standalone information systems business, and sales contributions from the new TimePro-eX product fell below expectations. Software amortization expenses also increased, sales expansion of new parking systems products did not reach full scale, and revenue recognition from the environmental systems business's order backlog was weighted toward the second half. Overseas group companies also remained sluggish in North America and Asia.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Amano's standalone information systems business was affected by the loss of replacement demand associated with the end of Windows 10 support, delays in the contribution of sales from the new TimePro-eX product, and higher software amortization expenses. In addition, sales expansion of new parking systems products has not yet reached full scale, revenue recognition in the environmental systems business is weighted toward the second half, and overseas group companies have remained sluggish in North America and Asia.
