Fiscal year ending December 2026 · Full yearPrevious forecast published 13 February 2026The bar length represents the relative magnitude of change, based on the item that changed the most in this document. The percentage change shown by the dotted line is calculated from the two reported figures because the company did not provide the rate.
While sales in the precision-molded products business are expected to exceed the initial forecast, sales in the precision-mold business are expected to fall short. On the earnings side, selling, general and administrative expenses are expected to increase, but improvements in the cost ratios of both businesses are expected to drive higher operating income. Ordinary income is also expected to increase even after taking into account the increase in foreign exchange losses alongside the higher operating income. Net income attributable to owners of the parent is forecast after taking into account extraordinary income and loss items and income taxes. The dividend has been increased because orders for precision molds in Japan and China, as well as automotive-related precision-molded products, mainly in Southeast Asia, are expected to remain stable and firm, and the Company has determined that it can enhance shareholder returns.

The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. While sales in the precision-molded products business are expected to exceed the forecast, sales in the precision-mold business are expected to fall short, resulting in lower net sales overall. On the earnings side, selling, general and administrative expenses are expected to increase, but improvements in the cost ratios of both businesses are expected to drive higher operating income. Ordinary income is also expected to increase, although the increase in operating income will be partly offset by higher foreign exchange losses. The dividend increase reflects the Company's judgment that orders for precision molds in Japan and China, as well as automotive-related precision-molded products, mainly in Southeast Asia, are expected to remain stable and firm, allowing it to enhance shareholder returns.
