The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The revenue forecast was revised upward for systems for semiconductor production lines because projects progressed smoothly based on the order backlog at the end of the previous fiscal year, with revenue from some projects recognized earlier than initially expected. The profit forecasts were also revised upward as profitability improved due to progress in production efficiency and improvements in project management, in addition to the effects of higher revenue.
