Items this document does not state (7)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. For the fiscal year ended March 2026, revenue was driven by compressors for European OEMs, painting equipment in China, and painting systems in Japan and India. Operating profit declined due to higher personnel expenses, mainly in Japan, selling-related expenditures, M&A-related expenses, and growth investments. Ordinary profit and net income increased due to foreign exchange gains, gains on the sale of sites, gains from debt forgiveness in China, and the decline in special losses recorded in the previous fiscal year. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the factors expected to reduce profit are higher personnel, logistics, and raw material costs; expenses related to the 100th anniversary project; investments in new product development and capacity expansion; M&A-related expenses; and the absence of non-recurring gains recorded in the previous fiscal year.
