Net sales increased, driven mainly by growth in the core Logistics Solutions business. Operating results deteriorated due to lower profit margins in the Logistics Solutions and Plant businesses, the reversal of the profit-boosting effect of highly profitable projects in the same period of the previous year, and the high proportion of net sales from projects with low profitability. Profit increased in the Mirai Creation business due to Sakata Denki Co., Ltd.'s contribution to results, the elimination of the impact of M&A-related expenses incurred in the previous fiscal year, and higher sales at group companies.
