Reason for the revision

Although shipments of construction machinery in Japan and in overseas regions outside North America remain sluggish, shipments to the North American market have continued at levels substantially exceeding initial assumptions. Yen depreciation beyond the assumed exchange rate is also expected to contribute, and net sales are expected to exceed the previous forecast. On the profit side, in addition to the effects of higher sales and yen depreciation, operating profit, ordinary profit and net income attributable to owners of the parent are expected to exceed the previous forecasts due in part to expected refunds related to reciprocal tariffs in the United States.

Previous-period resultsPrevious cumulative second-quarter results (second quarter of the fiscal year ended March 2026): net sales of ¥27,866 million, operating profit of ¥3,452 million, ordinary profit of ¥3,661 million, quarterly net income attributable to owners of the parent of ¥2,562 million, and quarterly net income per share of ¥93.22. Previous fiscal-year results (fiscal year ended March 2026): net sales of ¥55,604 million, operating profit of ¥7,184 million, ordinary profit of ¥8,014 million, net income attributable to owners of the parent of ¥5,596 million, and net income per share of ¥204.99.
