    「Beginning with the current interim accounting period, proceeds from the sale of scrap, previously reported as an adjustment to segment profit, have been included in the profit or loss of each reportable segment to present the results of each segment more appropriately from a management-control perspective. Segment information for the previous interim accounting period has also been presented using the revised calculation method.」

    For more appropriate presentation from a management-control perspective, the calculation method was changed beginning with the interim accounting period of the fiscal year ending March 2027 to include proceeds from scrap sales in the profit or loss of each reportable segment. The figures for the previous corresponding period were also presented for comparison using the revised method.
