Expansion of Overseas Production Facilities

「The Group invested a total of ¥3,410 million in capital expenditure during the consolidated fiscal year to expand, rationalize and renew manufacturing facilities. At a Board of Directors meeting held on 13 May 2016, the Company resolved to expand the production facilities of consolidated subsidiary KITAGAWA MEXICO,S.A.DE C.V., in which it held approximately 75%, at a cost equivalent to US$30.2 million. The investment plan was finalized after consent was obtained on 20 May 2016 from Nittetsu Shoji Bussan Co., Ltd., which held approximately 25%. The casting line's monthly production capacity will increase by 700 tons to a total of 1,400 tons. A new machining line will also be added to support increased production of existing products, increasing machining capacity by 30,000 units per month.」
