「温室効果ガス排出量削減としてはスコープ１,２合計の温室効果ガス排出量を2023年10月期は2021年10月期比45％削減しました（表②参照）。特にスコープ２（他社から供給された電気、熱、蒸気に伴う間接排出）については、主力工場であるサガミ工場では従来より太陽光パネルで電気の一部を賄っておりましたが、2022年４月から100％再生可能エネルギー由来に切り替え、更に湘南工場においても同年11月から100％再生可能エネルギー由来に切り替えることにより、温室効果ガス排出量を2021年10月期比67％以上の削減を実現しております。」
国内工場等を対象に、再生可能エネルギー由来電力への切替を通じて排出量削減を進めている。スコープ1・2合計は2021年10月期比45.8％、スコープ2は67.4％削減となっている。
