The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

The semiconductor manufacturing equipment market has remained strong, and orders received by the Group have expanded significantly. In addition, all semiconductor manufacturing equipment-related customers with which the Group does business have provided strong medium- to long-term demand outlooks, causing the difference from the projected year-end results to exceed the threshold for revised disclosure. The dividend forecast was increased in light of the revision to the earnings forecasts and the policy of targeting a payout ratio of at least 35%.
