Notice Regarding Revisions to Full-Year Earnings Forecast

The full-year forecast for the fiscal year ending August 2026 has been revised. While net sales have been significantly reduced due mainly to delays in customer acceptance of large domestic projects, operating income and ordinary income have been raised on higher-margin projects and lower material costs. Net income has been reduced due to the recording of a valuation loss on investment securities, but the year-end dividend will be maintained at ¥10 per share.

Reason for the revision

The large domestic projects required additional time for on-site adjustments at customers’ factories, and customer acceptance of some equipment was not completed by the end of August 2026. Some modification projects for major U.S. customers were deferred to the fiscal year ending August 2027 because large-scale equipment relocation work was prioritized. Operating income and ordinary income are expected to increase due to high-margin relocation and modification projects and substantial reductions in material costs. A valuation loss on investment securities related to shares acquired in connection with the investment in Gosan Tech will be recorded.
