Notice Regarding Revisions to Consolidated Earnings Forecasts for the Fiscal Year Ending March 2027

For the interim period of the fiscal year ending March 2027, the forecasts for revenue and profit were significantly reduced, mainly because orders for US projects are expected to be delayed. For the full year, the revenue and operating profit forecasts remain unchanged, while the forecasts for ordinary profit and profit attributable to owners of the parent were reduced following a review of interest expense and other items.

Reason for the revision

For the interim period, revenue is expected to decline because a large US water treatment equipment project that had been expected to be ordered in the first half is now expected to be ordered in the second half, while profit is also expected to fall below the initial forecasts because of higher costs for a large water treatment equipment project in South Korea for which an order had already been received. For the full year, inquiries in each region remain steady and progress revenue from US projects is expected to be realized in the second half, but ordinary profit and profit attributable to owners of the parent are expected to fall below the initial forecasts following a review of interest expense on borrowings and other items.

Previous-period resultsSecond quarter (interim period): revenue ¥25,193 million, operating profit ¥2,861 million, ordinary profit ¥2,060 million, interim net income attributable to owners of the parent ¥1,413 million, interim net income per share ¥37.26. Full year: revenue ¥56,245 million, operating profit ¥6,667 million, ordinary profit ¥5,629 million, net income attributable to owners of the parent ¥3,818 million, net income per share ¥100.36.
