- FY2026RaisedAnnual report
「We are also pursuing research and development in parallel of highly corrosion-resistant materials capable of withstanding the severe corrosive fluids handled at various chemical plants. Pumps made of a special material, duplex stainless steel, incorporating our non-clogging, non-blocking impellers have helped extend service life even under these severe conditions and have been adopted by many customers. To achieve further extension of service life, we are proceeding with prototyping and research alongside product improvements.」
In addition to research into seawater-resistant and highly corrosion-resistant materials, further extension of the service life of saltwater-resistant pumps was explicitly identified as a new research and development item. - FY2026-H1RestatedAnnual report
「There were no material changes during the interim accounting period in the status of the company's research and development activities.」
It was explicitly stated that there were no material changes in research and development activities, including research and development of seawater-resistant and highly corrosion-resistant materials. - FY2025First statedAnnual report
「To meet demand for materials that can withstand seawater-specific corrosion, such as pitting and crevice corrosion, we are pursuing research and development of seawater-resistant materials by drawing on our expertise in materials development and casting technology. In parallel, we are also conducting research and development of highly corrosion-resistant materials capable of withstanding the severe corrosive fluids handled at various chemical plants.」
Newly reported research and development of seawater-resistant materials that withstand seawater-specific corrosion, and highly corrosion-resistant materials for severe corrosive fluids at chemical plants.
