Factors Behind Changes in Business Performance

The slowdown in the North American EV market and the contraction in EV-related investment following a shift in U.S. policy led major customers to revise or postpone their capital investment plans, and some projects were cancelled. As a result, the volume of orders for EV-related machinery and equipment and the number of projects involving related services declined. Meanwhile, a review of order terms progressed in some projects, mitigating the downside in profit to a certain extent.
