「VOCs comprise various types. We are improving the equipment while conducting research so that it can maintain an advantage over existing technologies in removing VOCs other than TCE (trichloroethylene), which was previously the target.」
For Airsis, equipment improvements and research are under way to expand the range of VOCs addressed beyond TCE, the previous target. - FY2019AdvancedAnnual report
「During the fiscal year, we delivered Airsis for the purpose of providing “good-tasting water” for public water supplies. We are also making improvements to reduce noise and enhance performance.」
Airsis progressed from the adoption decision stage for public water supplies to delivery during the fiscal year and post-delivery performance improvements. - FY2019-Q1AdvancedAnnual report
「In Japan, adoption of Airsis was decided for water-treatment plants, where it had newly been proposed for providing “good-tasting water.”」
The expansion of applications to public water supplies progressed from the proposal stage for installation of the actual equipment to a decision to adopt the system at a water-treatment plant. - FY2018AdvancedAnnual report
「During the fiscal year, we expanded Airsis applications with the aim of providing “good-tasting water” for public water supplies and reached the stage where we can propose installation of the actual equipment.」
Airsis progressed from the improvement and research stage for expansion from soil-contamination remediation to public water-supply applications to the stage where installation of the actual equipment can be proposed. - FY2016First statedAnnual report
「The Group jointly developed and commercialized Airsis with the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Waterworks. Airsis removes at least 99% of contaminants such as VOCs and free carbonic acid, while also removing low-concentration VOCs exceeding the Waterworks Law water-quality standards, which are considered difficult to treat, to 0.001 mg/L, or one-tenth of the Waterworks Law standard. At the same time, it achieved a 60% reduction in the energy required for operation compared with existing technologies.」
For the water-treatment system commercialized following joint development, removal performance and energy savings are presented quantitatively.
