Reason for the revision

In the machine tool business, sales of electrical discharge machines remained strong against a backdrop of robust demand in Greater China. In the industrial machinery business, sales of precision injection molding machines for optical connectors also remained strong, supported by demand related to AI and data centers. Profit is expected to exceed the previous forecast due in part to improved factory utilization resulting from higher production volumes and the recording of relocation compensation in the third quarter.

Previous-period resultsFiscal year ended December 2025: net sales of ¥80,572 million, operating income of ¥4,224 million, ordinary income of ¥5,231 million, net income attributable to owners of the parent of ¥4,514 million, and earnings per share of ¥89.19
