- FY2025AdvancedAnnual report
「In fiscal 2024, we commercialized the large precision press (BEX), an enhanced version of our conventional precision press, as a dedicated machine for forming metal separators for bipolar plates used in hydrogen power-generation equipment.」
For molding machines for hydrogen and alternative energy applications, the Company commercialized BEX and also received the Grand Prize in the 10 Major New Product Awards. Development is also under way on a flywheel energy-storage system for servo-press configurations. - FY2024First statedAnnual report
「We developed the dedicated BEX series of presses specialized for molding bipolar plates (BPPs). Taking into account the central load specific to BPP molding, the BEX series retains the structure of the UL series, which is highly regarded by the market, while incorporating a high-rigidity frame that substantially reduces bed deflection and frame elongation compared with the UL series. The series is available in mechanical-press and servo-press configurations, with pressing capacities of 8000 kN, 12000 kN and 16000 kN.」
The Company developed the dedicated BEX series of presses for BPPs, a key component of hydrogen fuel cells, with models available in 8,000 kN, 12,000 kN and 16,000 kN specifications. Orders from European customers were also reported.
