The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The decline in revenue from individual services due to a decrease in membership, the discontinuation of Smart Method, and the transfer of Shikaku Square was offset by TISG's contribution following consolidation. Operating profit declined due to lower revenue from the reskilling business, one-time expenses incurred upon the acquisition of TISG, and acquisition-related expenses, while net income increased due to a gain of approximately ¥400 million on the transfer of the qualification services business.
