Items this document does not state (7)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the Soil Contamination Countermeasures business, results benefited from the execution of construction projects as planned, higher construction unit prices resulting from larger projects, and cost improvements in prime-contractor construction. In the Brownfield Utilization business, results benefited from the sale of large, high-margin properties and cost reductions through collaboration with the Soil Contamination Countermeasures business. In the Renewable Energy business, the expansion of agency operations and renewable energy supply services, as well as increased operations at solar power plants, contributed to higher revenue. However, a loss on the withdrawal from the Turkey business and temporary power plant shutdowns reduced profit.
