The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. For the full year, the reasons cited were higher revenue following the April 2025 menu revisions and promotional strategies including television commercials, the one-time recognition of gains from the management of investment partnerships, improved productivity resulting from the menu revisions, and cost optimization following store closures and service discontinuations in the previous fiscal year. In the fourth quarter, revenue declined due to strategic store closures, while ordinary profit increased due in part to the one-time recognition of gains from the management of investment partnerships.
