Items this document does not state (12)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the nursing care business, occupancy rates increased, while losses in the karaoke business narrowed due to the closure of unprofitable locations and an increase in customer traffic. On the other hand, profit was weighed down by higher capital investment costs, labor costs and utility expenses associated with the introduction of ICT equipment in the nursing care business, an inventory valuation loss on real estate held for sale in the real estate business, and lower extraordinary gains.
