The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Machbait shifted its policy to focus on higher-margin projects, resulting in a decline in applications as the terms of low-margin projects were changed and transactions were scaled back. Ieshil reported lower revenue due to a decline in the number of settlements in its property purchase-and-resale business. The operating loss narrowed, helped by higher revenue at Tenshoku Draft and other factors, while the ordinary loss worsened because the loss of licensing revenue following the transfer of a business reduced non-operating income. The full-year forecast has not been disclosed because it is difficult to make a precise forecast of the progress and results of the structural reforms.
