Reason for the revision

Although the social support and cybersecurity businesses grew, a large project for consumer games received in the previous consolidated fiscal year was completed in the game support business, while project sizes from existing customers in the Ad Process business declined as the use of AI advanced in advertising review and other operations. In addition, temporary duplication of labor costs associated with the consolidation of locations, increases in personnel and outsourcing costs resulting from recruitment, higher shareholder benefit expenses, and an impairment loss resulting from the discontinuation of development related to “AI-BPO” were recorded.

Details and amount of extraordinary loss

An impairment loss of ¥119 million was recorded on related software under development and other assets.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Revenue fell below the forecast due to the completion of a large project in the game support business and smaller projects in the Ad Process business. In addition, profit at each stage fell below the forecast due to temporary duplication of labor costs associated with the consolidation of locations, higher personnel and outsourcing costs resulting from recruitment, increased shareholder benefit expenses, and an impairment loss resulting from the discontinuation of development of a customer support tool.
