Notice Regarding the Discontinuation of the Shareholder Benefit Program and Changes to the Shareholder Return Policy

The shareholder benefit program will end with the benefits based on the 30 September 2026 record date, and from the fiscal year ending September 2027, shareholder returns will shift primarily to dividends. The dividend policy will be revised from the previous policy of targeting a consolidated payout ratio of approximately 30% to a progressive dividend policy that, in principle, maintains or increases dividends without reducing them.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

While the objectives of the shareholder benefit program, namely improving awareness and broadening the shareholder base, have been achieved to a certain extent, the benefits are the same regardless of the number of shares held. The company will therefore focus on dividends, which provide fair returns based on the number of shares held. Going forward, it will continue growth investments such as M&A while paying stable and continuous dividends.
