The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The full-year increases in revenue and profit were driven by price revisions, a steady number of consultations, expanded treatment capacity, and improved earnings power through greater operational efficiency and higher quality of care. The fourth-quarter decline in revenue was attributable to seasonal factors, including the shorter month of February and a decline in referrals at the beginning of the year, as well as the extension of MRI replacement work at Kawasaki Main Hospital.
