Revenue from marine internal combustion engines declined due to adjustments in operating capacity associated with the development, manufacture and test operation of next-generation decarbonized-fuel engines, as well as fluctuations in the timing of revenue recognition. Meanwhile, revenue from repairs, parts and other businesses increased due to maintenance demand resulting from high vessel utilization, the expansion of overseas licensees' orders, manufacturing and sales, and increases in parts supply and royalty income. This led to higher overall revenue and increases at each profit level.
