The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Projects in the domestic and overseas CFCC businesses progressed steadily, and sales of development products increased. In addition, lower operating costs and the successful implementation of product price revisions lifted profit. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the company cited as factors behind the expected decline in profit the concentration of CFCC business projects in the fiscal year ended March 2026, which caused them to be completed earlier than expected, and deteriorating business conditions in the steel cord business.
