The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

The proposed appropriation of surplus is based on the policy of providing stable dividends as a means of returning profits to shareholders, taking into comprehensive consideration business performance, the dividend payout ratio and retained earnings. In addition, because gains on the sale of investment securities were recorded as extraordinary income, a year-end dividend including a special dividend has been proposed. The director nominees are being proposed for re-election so that the Company can continue to utilize their respective business experience, specialized knowledge, and insight into management and auditing.
