Reason for the revision

In the second quarter, each profit measure is expected to exceed the previous forecast due to an increase in sales volume in the steel sheet-related business and other operations. For the full year, net sales and operating profit are expected to exceed the previous forecasts following the upward revision to the second-quarter forecast. Although equity-method investment gains are expected to decline, ordinary profit and net income attributable to owners of the parent are also expected to exceed the previous forecasts due to the increase in operating profit.
