The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. For the fiscal year ended March 2026, net sales and operating profit increased due to new mass-produced automotive cable products, strong energy-related demand in the North American market, a recovery in demand for cables used in semiconductor inspection equipment, and specialized network equipment products and large OEM projects. Although the company recorded a ¥439 million gain on bargain purchase from the consolidation of 吉野川電線株式会社 and a ¥572 million gain on sales of investment securities, an impairment loss of ¥2,471 million was recognized, resulting in a decline in net income attributable to owners of the parent.
