The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

In the titanium metal business, sales volume, prices and foreign exchange were factors reducing earnings. Although sales volume and other factors increased earnings in the catalyst and chemicals businesses, consolidated operating income declined due in part to higher corporate expenses. The reason no earnings forecast has been disclosed for the fiscal year ending March 2027 is that the Company's shares are scheduled to be delisted before the share exchange with JX Advanced Metals Corporation takes effect.
