Items this document does not state (13)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Sales volumes of key products, including ultra-thin copper foil MicroThin and electrolytic copper foil VSP for AI servers, increased in the Functional Materials segment. In the Metals segment, the weaker yen and higher metal prices, together with an improvement in inventory-related factors, contributed to results. Net income benefited from the absence of the extraordinary loss related to the transfer of shares in an affiliated company recorded in the same period of the previous year. The upward revision to the full-year forecasts reflects expectations that sales volumes of key products in the Functional Materials segment will remain strong.
