「The group had previously used the declining-balance method as its main depreciation method for tangible fixed assets, excluding lease assets, except that the straight-line method was used for buildings acquired on or after 1 April 1998, excluding building fixtures, and for building fixtures and structures acquired on or after 1 April 2016. From the first quarter of the current consolidated accounting period, the group changed to the straight-line method.
