「In Japan, we are eliminating heat treatment and reducing costs by using the heat from hot forging and controlling the cooling rate to normalize forged parts, thereby achieving a structure and hardness equivalent to those obtained through conventional normalizing heat treatment. We are also developing a change in the lubrication process for cold forging from conventional zinc phosphate coating to a one-liquid lubrication process, and have developed and installed an automated one-liquid lubrication system in-house.」
