Items this document does not state (19)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the incinerator ash resource recovery business, the volume of incinerator ash processed increased, while market conditions for molten metal remained strong and stable. Demand related to electronic materials remained firm in the functional materials business. Although operations were strong in the ferroalloys business, the company ended contract manufacturing for certain products due to weak demand for battery materials, resulting in one-off expenses and inventory effects.
