Change in segment profit presentation

「Through the previous consolidated fiscal year, the Group used as segment profit the profit before deducting amortization of intangible assets related to the Pilkington acquisition from operating profit before individually disclosed items. However, as time has passed since the Pilkington acquisition and amortization has ended for certain categories of intangible assets, the impact of amortization of intangible assets on operating income or loss has declined. Accordingly, beginning with the cumulative first quarter of the current fiscal year, the Group has used operating profit before individually disclosed items as segment profit.」
