「In Turkey, an earthquake-prone country, the ICI Technology Center is promoting the deployment of its proprietary external seismic reinforcement method, “Master Frame,” in cooperation with the International Division of the Building Construction Business Headquarters. With an associate professor at Istanbul Technical University serving as a technical adviser, the company established a framework for transferring technology locally for the production, design and installation of dedicated anchors. At the “7ICEES (7th International Conference on Earthquake Engineering)” held in Antalya in November 2023, it presented an explanation of the construction method and examples of its application in Turkey.」
To deploy its external seismic reinforcement method in Turkey, the company appointed a university researcher as a technical adviser, established a framework for transferring technology for the local production, design and installation of dedicated anchors, and presented construction examples at an international conference.
