「The Company and HOKKO CHEMICAL INDUSTRY CO.,LTD. entered into a basic agreement on 13 August 2021 regarding the transfer of the business involving the active ingredients and formulated products of the paddy rice herbicides benzofenap and benfuresate. Although the parties initially announced that they planned to execute the definitive agreement by the end of September 2021, after further review and discussions they executed the definitive agreement and completed the business transfer on 29 October 2021. Revenue from the transferred business was ¥540 million for the fiscal year ended December 2020. A gain on the transfer was expected, although the amount was still under review.」
