「当社は、2020年５月11日にTasly Biopharmaceuticals Co., Ltd.（本社：中国上海市）に対し腫瘍溶解性ウイルスC-REV（一般名 canerpaturev）の中国における独占的開発、製造、販売を許諾するライセンス契約（以下、本契約）を同社と締結いたしましたが、昨今の社会情勢（新型コロナウイルス感染症の世界的流行）等を考慮し、両社で今後の方針を協議した結果、2020年８月４日開催の取締役会において本契約を解約することを決議し、同社と合意の上、同日付で契約を解約いたしました。」

「At a Board meeting held on 4 August 2020, the Company resolved to terminate, and agreed with Tasly Biopharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. on the same date to terminate, the license agreement granting Tasly exclusive rights to develop, manufacture and commercialize the oncolytic virus C-REV (generic name: canerpaturev) in China.」
Terminated effective 4 August 2020 the exclusive C-REV development, manufacturing and commercialization license agreement in China entered into with Tasly on 11 May 2020. The rights reverted to the Company, and upfront and milestone revenue under the agreement was no longer expected.
