Reason for the revision

In addition to firm sales of photosensitive materials and high-purity solvents for advanced semiconductors, profitability improved in the second half as higher sales increased plant utilization and the sales portfolio improved. In the first half, fixed costs increased due to depreciation and amortization associated with the start of operations at major facilities and a production information system, as well as additional personnel. The company was also affected by lower-of-cost-or-market valuation resulting from longer processing times for cutting-edge materials.

Previous-period resultsRevenue: ¥38,665 million; operating income: ¥4,103 million; ordinary income: ¥3,997 million; net income: ¥3,279 million; net income per share: ¥413.20
