The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The trial plan price was changed from ¥1,500 to ¥3,500. As a result, the number of visits by new customers declined, but the new-customer conversion rate and average purchase price increased, resulting in higher sales from new customers. The company also worked to improve customer service quality through training, streamline store operations, and strengthen coordination with its hair business. Among continuing customers, fewer opportunities to visit stores due to bad weather pushed down the average purchase price.
