「The permanent-staff job site En Tenshoku and the job site for staffing companies primarily operate on listing-fee revenue models, so the impact of the sharp decline in job listings appeared quickly in their results. The job site for recruitment agencies was also affected by lower recruitment demand, as were other job sites, but because its revenue model is primarily success-fee based, revenue generated mainly from sales results in the previous quarter was recognized in the first quarter, resulting in higher revenue year on year.」
The business structure shows that the impact of a decline in job listings appeared early in the results of listing-fee job sites, while sales results from the previous quarter were recognized at the success-fee job site for recruitment agencies, resulting in different timing for the impact to emerge.
