The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Although membership revenue declined, revenue increased as business revenue, including that of group companies, grew. In Media & Content, competition with video streaming services intensified and cancellations increased following the termination of certain programs. In Telemarketing, the revenue of ㈱cinra, which joined the group during the previous consolidated fiscal year, contributed for the full year. The increase in net income also reflected the reversal of the impairment loss recorded in the previous fiscal year following the termination of the WOWOW 4K broadcasting service and other factors.
