The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In addition to steady performance in the core Creative (Japan) and Medical segments, interim net income attributable to owners of the parent significantly exceeded the forecast because seasonal factors at 高橋書店 Group had been projected conservatively. Operating loss and ordinary loss temporarily arose during the interim period due to concentrated product returns, and the resulting decrease in tax expenses also contributed.
