Revenue exceeded the forecast because the number of students enrolled at the cram schools remained above plan and attendance at the summer camps and intensive summer training programs was strong. Cost of sales and selling, general and administrative expenses are also expected to come in below plan because some advertising and promotional initiatives, DX-related investments and capital expenditures were moved to the second half, while operating efficiency gains from the increase in students per school reduced personnel expenses below budget. The full-year forecast was also revised upward following a detailed review of the revenue outlook based on current enrollment trends and a review of various expenses from the third quarter onward.
