The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the comprehensive entertainment business, performance was supported by strong results from existing and major content, an increase in equity-method investment income, strong performance from IP content, and the consolidation of Aoi Corporation. In the video production business, all divisions performed well, particularly variety programming. Meanwhile, the advertising agency business was affected by major clients reviewing their advertising spending, while the logistics business declined due to the reversal of special factors, including subsidies, in the previous fiscal year.
