The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Demand related to the Osaka-Kansai Expo and inbound visitors, full-building renovations at 4 properties, improved revenue management accuracy and sales promotion activities contributed to the results. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the company expects a decline in demand following the Osaka-Kansai Expo in the previous fiscal year, but anticipates benefits from the renovations, reciprocal member referrals with Fujita Kanko and more sophisticated revenue management. Net income is expected to decline due to higher corporate taxes and other taxes resulting from the utilization of tax loss carryforwards.
