Reason for the revision

From the third quarter onward, the number of junior and senior high school students diverged from the plan, resulting in revenue falling short of the earnings forecast. Operating profit and ordinary profit, however, met the forecasts due to reduced labor costs from improved operating efficiency, lower utilities costs from power conservation and reduced teaching-material costs. In addition, an extraordinary loss will be recognized following the decision to relocate 2 campuses in Yamanashi and Miyagi prefectures.
