The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Approval to commence the CBP501 Phase 3 clinical trial in the United States was not obtained, eliminating the need to allocate funds to the expenses planned for the United States, while preparations and procedures for an application to the European Medicines Agency (EMA) are under way. Operating funds were also spent in excess of the originally planned amount because of funding needs.
